Our new and improved beginners shechita knives are recommended for students practicing their craft and occasional or lay slaughterers. These knives are much thinner and easier to work than our past versions and while not recommended for professional shechita use they’re very effective for learning your craft, occasional shechita, halal and non kosher slaughterers, or use as a back up knife.
