These Terms will be applied fully and affect to your use of this Website. By using this Website, you agreed to accept all terms and conditions written in here. You must not use this Website if you disagree with any of these Website Standard Terms and Conditions.

Age Restrictions

Minors below the age of 18 years of age are not permitted to purchase educational services or shop products from this website.

Content Warning

This websites discusses slaughter of animals. While we aim to keep gratuitous pictures off the site content may still be graphic. The acts described and pictured on the site are performed by professionals and by those under professional supervision. Readers are advised not to perform any of the acts described without professional training or supervision.

Merchandise

Product appearance on this site may somewhat differ from products received. WARNING, our knives may be very sharp and should be handled with extreme caution! A protective case and use of cut resistant safety gloves when handling are both highly recommended.

Please also be advised that, as stated in our terms and conditions, the knives we sell come without an edge or with simple machine edge. All knives must be expertly sharpened before use to achieve requisite efficacy. While we do offer to put a hand sharpened edge on knives for an additional fee, we do not guarantee that this edge will meet your standards or fulfill any specific halachik criteria. we advise that shochtim performing kosher slaughter should be able to put edges on their knives. If you’ve not been trained sufficiently to do this on your own, we recommend that you pursue instruction in this (available on our training page).

Shipping

Items are sent out as soon as possible (usually within 1-3 business days) using USPS First Class/Priority Mail or UPS. When ordering a hand set edge please allow an additional 1-3 weeks for shipping, we will try to be in touch to let you know about how long it will take. If backordering products please be advised that it may take 1-3 months to get your products in. If you need expedited shipping please send us a message and we will try to accommodate your timeline. If an item is damaged during shipping let us know within 48 hours of receiving the product so we can file a claim with USPS.

We provide shipping to all 50 states via USPS Ground Advantage/Priority Mail or occasionally via UPS. These options usually allow for delivery within 1-5 days of shipment.  International shipping is available for a flat rate of $50 to Canada and $100 to anywhere else. If the cost of shipping (including our added time to fulfill international orders) is considerably less or more then the flat rate we will refund or bill you the remainder (though our flat international rates usually match our shipping cost well).  International packages are sent USPS Priority (usually taking 5-10 business days). Express shipping for any package is available upon request for an additional fee.

Lastly, please be advised that we do not take responsibility for any customs issues when delivering internationally.

Return Policy

If you’re unsatisfied with an item you can return it free of charge within 30 days. Items must be unused and in original condition in order to be eligible for return.

Order Cancellation Policy

If you change your mind and want to cancel an order you made through the site you can do so by emailing us before your order is shipped out. Though, in order to help cover the payment processing fees associated with your order these is a 3% order cancellation fee.

Intellectual Property Rights

Other than the content you own, under these Terms, The Kosher Cut® and/or its licensors own all the intellectual property rights and materials contained in this Website.

You are granted limited license only for purposes of viewing the material contained on this Website.
